Participants in Kisumu

As a follow-up to the SIFA Launch in Kenya, the Ministry of Education - State Department of Vocational and Technical Training in collaboration with NEPAD Secretariat in Kenya invited James Wamwangi to make an elaborate presentation of the Instruction Guide for Applicants and the SmartME Application on 4th July 2019 . The SIFA Workshop held in Kisumu City was for TVET Institutions and Private sector companies in the Western region of the Kenya who may have not managed to attend the launch. Thirty five TVET institutions and three private sector companies attended the presentation.

A similar presentation was scheduled to take place in Mombasa on 22rd July 2019 for TVET institutions in Eastern and Coastal regions of the country.

The participants expressed interest in the SIFA programme and majority indicated they will apply.
